NRN INFORMATION

Northern Ireland

The Rural Network for Northern Ireland has been fully operational since 26 September, 2008.

The National Network Support Unit (NSU) has been outsourced and is appointed through a call for tender to the Rural Development Council, who manages the network on behalf of the Agri Rural Forum, a consortium of key stakeholders in the rural development sector.

The Rural Network for Northern Ireland was designed to support the implementation and delivery of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme (RDP) and it aims to identify and share good practice, by assisting the seven Local Action Groups (LAGs) with their training needs, and promoting the development of cooperation projects.
