A recent ENRD workshop (3 May 2018 – Brussels, Belgium) brought together young farmers, entrepreneurs, and policy-makers to explore ways of creating employment opportunities and services for rural youth.
The event showcased inspiring examples of youth initiatives and projects in areas such as entrepreneurship, rural-urban linkages, communication, and digitisation. Additionally, it discussed how various policy tools, funds, and their strategic combination could be used to improve the attractiveness of rural areas for young people.
