LEADER 2012_ Effective use of the natural resources of the national park of Gauja
Effective use of the natural resources of the national park of Gauja, conservation and protection of the water of rivers and fish resources, fortification of the tourism potential in the national park of Gauja, making it an essential touristic destination in the measures of Baltic.
 Current local government has signed an agreement about cooperation in the development of the NPG;  There are several successful LEADER projects in this territory: New ranger school, Spawn observation paths, Putting in order the paths of the mills of Ieriķi, video surveillance on the riverside of Gauja, construction of the poaching museum.
1. Popularization of the NPG. 2. Restoration of the direction signs. 3. Development of an interactive website, joint with social networks. 4. Development of united touristic package (offer) for NPG, where local entrepreneurs would be involved. 5. Formation of new paths. 6. Taking over the positive experience from other large National parks.
