Interdisciplinary Workshop of theater and music for young people

The project presents the following artistic and pedagogical assumptions: - the theater as a valuable tool for growth of young people and modality for critical analysis; - the theater as a way to improve the social relationships between young people; - the theater as an expressive and therefore representative language, through innovative approach to classical and traditional dramaturgy.

The italian local context is represented by a cultural association, established and started by the public authorities initiative, with a consolidated tradition in annual stage (lasting one week or more) of theater for schools coming from different italian regions and EU countries as well.

The project objectives are the following: - a multidisciplinary artistic laboratory, as a place of growth, aggregation and exchange of experiences; - creating an association that produces youth theater, music and performance with innovative style, as a cultural development opportunity for young people themselves and for their reference communities; - creating a festival of contemporary theater composed mainly of young associations in co-operation between participating countries. The project will be structured as follows: 1. Permanent Theatre Workshop: 2. Creation of a permanent group of contemporary theater 3. Creation of a Festival of Contemporary Drama titled "Beyond / International new dramaturgy, organized in collaboration with project partners.
