Singing over the borders, singing bridge to the world

The idea is to exchange ideas and cultural experiences with other choirs and choristers. Key words of the project: choral singing, mixed choir, folk music, singing Target group: mixed choirs and choristers aged 17-70

Hinnerjoen Jokisoinnut (River Melodies) is a mixed choir in Eura municipality in Southwestern Finland. The Eura municipality and its sites has a special characteristic: Iron Age, Viking age and of course rural areas.

Common activities that could be developed are: trips, concerts and any other things which give inspirtaion (such as community singing). Besides travelling gives the possibility to get to know different kinds of residences, choir habits, practising mathods, new notes and lifestyles.
