LEADER 2012_Co-conception of a virtual house of services to public (online virtual platform)

Develop favorable conditions for maintaining and redeployment of services on the intermediate structuring poles of the area. Seek to optimize the presence of services though sharing and coordination approaches to. Make visible and legible the existing offer and develop it, so as to facilitate the access of services and suppor tlocal life

The positioning and the geographic configuration of the “Pays d’Oloron Haut Béarn” have impacts on the presence of services for the public and their distribution on this territory. From the perspective of land use management, the question of their accessibility is essential to the attractiveness of the area. In this sense, the “syndicat mixte du Pays d’Oloron Haut Béarn carries out reflections for the creation of a “maison d’accueil et de services”, places which welcomes users in need of information and where they can find all relevant public services. This information point, is seen as an answer to maintain proximity in terms of services to the public in this rural area.

 Creation of a virtual place grouping public services (following already developed examples, i.e. Denmark)  Construction of an animation model based on economic citizenship (the role of voluntary organizations in delivering services), following existing models (i.e.: Citizens Advice Bureau in the UK)  Definition of contents of computer workshops dedicated teleworkers
