LEADER 2012_Welcoming a child, is welcoming his family too

Parents are the first educators and it is important to recognize their role. They have knowledge that we must take into account in guiding the children on a daily basis. Pimponet Association (professional and volunteer) like many other structures of early childhood is in this reflection, with a strong desire to succeed in creating and developing a relationship with parents to share with them the know-how and know be, so that the day-nursery is no longer just a mean of keep but a real place to live and blooming for the child.

Pimponet is a day-nursery associative bilingual (French / Bearnais) who was born with the will of young mothers from the valley to their struggle to combine family and professional life, when around them, there was no family or place in order to let their children. After nearly two years of operation, Pimponet would like finally see the project flourish around the parenting, and offer to parents a full role in the life of the day-nursery, so that the accompanying of children is richer. Because we believe that child care does not stop at the four walls of the day-nursery and there is so much to do and to share that the association pimponet (professionals and volunteers) wants to develop a partnership that can go beyond our borders.
