'Sky paths' International expansion of the archaeoastronomic tourism route

The project intends to establish a European network of archaeoastronomically relevant sites and tourism suppliers, thus extending the existing 'Sky Paths' in southern Saxony-Anhalt.

The Saale Unstrut Triasland Nature Park is located in the southern part of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, between the federal states of Thuringia and Saxony. Extending over some 103,000 hectares, it includes parts of the Burgenland District and the Saale District.

Its aims: Partners´ mutual use of promotion channels; Creation & promotion of specific travel packages; Opening up of new international audiences for the network partners; Promotion of tourism in partner regions; Preservation and creation of employment; Activation of internationally shared cultural resources.
