LEADER 2012_Create a sustainable tourism policy

We want to promote sustainable tourism as territorial identity, by proposing a new touristic offer, innovating and sustainable

The Pays Marennes Oleron is a rural territory which has got a very attractive coast due to an exceptional natural and cultural patrimony ; however, the economic effects are limited for workers. The rural and local identity is now threatened by the progressive decrease of the agricultural sector. That's why we want to develop a new way of thinking of tourism.

- Develop a sustainable capital gain on territories - Raise public awareness of environment and sustainable development, adapt ways of communication to target audiences - Help to change usual practices

We want to meet some partners to prepare a future cooperation project about sustainable tourism. First, to set up the project, we would have to delimit objectives together. Which let us defining the actions we could establish in a future cooperation project.
