Teteven is a municipal center of LAG and consists of 13 settlements. The landscape is predominantly mountainous and about 68% of the territory is covered by forests. Teteven municipality is located in Lovech region - North-Central planning region. The municipality borders 10 municipalities in Lovech, Sofia and Plovdiv districts. LAG territory borders the territory of the LAG Troyan-Apriltsi, LAG Etropole and LAG Yablanitsa-Pravets.
