Sustainable land management and planning : working for sustainable and well-balanced development of rural-urban areas (agricultural building)

This EU cooperation project will be associated to a reseach-action project which is studying sustainable land management and planning issues (linked to agricultural building in rural/urban areas) in the Hérault district. We are looking for European partners who are working on similar topics.

Actions and activities will involve expecially local partners, situated in Pays Coeur d'Hérault land, and European partners. Pays Coeur d'Hérault land federates 77 municipalities with 70 000 inhabitants, living in rural area (1 300 km²).

- Exchange and transfer of experiences and methodologies, defining common strategy and action plan, implementation of joint actions ; - communication, organization technical seminars, traning and exchange programs, meetings between local and/or expert actors.
