Summary of project idea:

Renewable energy is a possibility for farmers e.g. to cut costs in agriculture. Village development e.g. offers one way of producing service in rural areas.

Local context in which
the project is going to operate (starting situation):

The main target is to create possibilities for living and working in countryside: to keep present inhabitants in the area and try to get more people to Kouvola region. Renewable energy and services offered by village associations are the main interests in the future in Finnish rural areas, if we want to survive.
