CAP towards 2020

EU rural development policy has been constantly evolving to respond to the emerging challenges in rural areas. The most recent reform process, accompanying the wider one of the EU’s Common Agriculture Policy (CAP), has been completed by 2013 with the approval of the basic legislative acts for 2014-2020. This section features the contributions to the public debate on shaping the EU Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) after 2013, which was promoted by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development. It also includes information relevant to rural development programming for 2014-2020.
