This is the main report of the fourth meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group on 'Resource-Efficient Rural Economy'.

It overviews findings from the Thematic Group’s work, highlights two projects related to the resource-efficient use of soil and water in Emilia Romagna (Italy), and sets out recommendations for improving Rural Development Programme (RDP) design and delivery.
