Short supply chains

The objective is to increase regional players’ awareness of sustainable development and support their actions; and to identify LAGs interested in helping farmers to support sustainable agriculture approaches in logic to move from awareness to action. More specifically: to work in partnership with other structures to supply local governments with local products and more broadly to help implementing short supply chains dedicated to farmers that would not be enrolled in direct sales. Direct sales outlets already are well developed in the area. The objective here is to develop a local supply and diversify marketing opportunities.

First experience in helping farmers to develop sustainable agriculture made by an association and several public and private partners.

Proposed actions: • Experience and exchange of best practices through visits on spot, the purpose of this action would be to build and share best practices on local supply communities and local economic markets. • Enhance regional initiatives through communication tools (video, etc)
