Local high quality food production

We have noticed an increased demand for locally produced food. It has become one of our priority areas.

This area is predominantly a large plain of arable land & a part of the territory is hard wood forest or spruce. In the coniferous forests there are some peat mosses & mires. The two towns of the LAG area are experiencing a process of a restructure of the business fabric in the last 10 years, since many of the larger manufacturing companies have been cutting down or even closing. The agriculture in the area is active & thriving but has also gone through some tough rationalisations.
