Old crafts in modern times

The main idea of the project would be to present old crafts which are used nowadays to the young people. For example, how to make musical instruments, smithery, woodcraft, texture, shoemaking and etc. The idea would be represented in the form of workshops. The aim - to motivate youth to use old crafts nowadays in order to give this tradition from generation to generation. Also one of idea from this project would be to organise conferences/seminars for craftsmen, where they could share experience about how they popularize their crafts, what educational programs they organize and etc. Maybe during the project we could create an international educational program for youth.

Pasvalys district LAG, craftsmen' workshops in contryside.

Objectives: international exchange, cultural cooperation, motivate young people to know old crafts, engage them on the contryside. Target group: craftsmen and interested youth. Activities: workshops and conferences/seminars.
