Pole D’Initiative bati Traditionnel et Eco-construction (PIBE)/ Initiative of traditional and Eco-construction
The objective of the project is to create a European network in order to build &develop actions of awareness raising &training around the themes of traditional buildings & ecological constructions (“eco-construction”). Aims: - Rise awarness on traditional &ecological constructions; - Enhance cohesion of territories based on architectur &landscape; - Develop a thematic European network; - Strengthen the European identity.
The LAG must cope with an aging & rarefied population. Thus, the main issue is attracting a new population & young, & to enhance the attractiveness of the region. (employment development, competitiveness of public services etc.) The LAG is characterised by a high-standard environment, outstanding landscapes, diversified cultural heritage & a strong development potential. This heritage risks to disappear, so the LAG intends to re-establish its full value trough respectful environment actions.
Organise: -seminars, conferences, trainings to the large public & professionals, in order to: bring theoretical knowledge, technical &practical skills; develop learning on E-Learning; Step in the local cultural inheritance; Create &provide broadcast media (numerical and paper). - Events: Join existing events (festival, gala, week of sustainable development…) - Pedagogic actions: workshops for kids, youth. - Create a resource centre: website as a key tool. - Evaluation & analysis of action.
