Compare the imprint of industrial and social heritage generated by porcelain industry since the 18th century
With the cooperation of other regions of Europe with similar conditions and interest, the project would be to identify these territories and to associate them in a common weft across comprehension and to organise exchange of exhibitions on the topic.
Since the antiquity, Limousin has got a rich geologic heritage. The development of the porcelain with the exploitation of the kaolin and the industrial production of the enamel from the rock, drove this rural territory to become from the 18th century a precursor of the mechanization and the taylorism and also a bastion of conflicts and social conquests.
LAGs, or rural territories sheltering or having sheltered a porcelain industry from the 18th century to our days.
