Farmer’s itineraries

The project aims: - sharing experiences around farmer’s visits; - thinking about valorization of agricultural products, of visits and touristic sojourns; - building a partnership, a net, on same values, of farmers from different countries to promote these types of activities.

Since 1997, the CPIE Alpes of Provence (www.cpie04.com) has been yearly organising farm visits “Itinéraires Paysans” with several programs. Visitors meet those farmers who contribute to the liveliness of the land. Smallholdings & mastered production are their common points.On their lands, we can discover a different agricultural behaviour that combines environment-friendly practises with economical & land-caring functions.
