Discovering Central Europe
The idea of the project is to establish a collaboration between LAGs located in Central & Eastern Europe in order to develop a common marketing strategy which will subsequently be launched. The strategy will aim at promoting the whole Central and Eastern EU region as a unique holiday destination.
Most of the regions in our part of Europe, especially rural, despite their beautiful landscapes and unique holiday potential are invisible to significant tourism markets due the substantial expense, which is required to afford a successful advertising campaign. Therefore we feel that joining forces will enable us not only to exchange experience and facilitate development of a competitive holiday product but most of all it will allow us to develop a mutually successful marketing strategy.
The aim of the project is to set up an international collaboration between LAGs in Central & Eastern Europe. -Establish a strategy for developing a competitive tourism product & scheme of supporting local enterprises in marketing of their products. -Create an advertising strategy. -Set up Local Tourism Offices to support small, local business in the process of developing original, competitive products & promoting them. -Launch a website to serve as an advertising tool & communications forum.
