How to encourage rural development activities that promote local natural resources

The LAG is looking for partners in order to implement TNC projects in the following themes: - Developing/promoting local resources (wood, paper, cardboard); -Tourism/ heritage/ and natural resources; - Agriculture/ Forest/ Renewable energy.

The Pays de la Déodatie is at crucial asset in terms of development, in particular for space management, industrial and farming activities, wood working, tourism and the protection of the environment and landscape. It owns a rich natural heritage with regional, national and european interest. Natural areas cover a large variety of biotopes: wet meadows, rivers, alluvial forests, mountainside forest, acid peat bogs, high forests, lakes.

The LAG would like to implement joint actions such as: - Exchange of experience/ education acts/ information between areas; - Promote heritage (natural, cultural, knowledge etc) notably via tourism and hiking; - Create and develop wood field/ eco construction/ eco energy/ cluster/ climate project etc; - Put in place actions to improve local knowledge, local products; - Develop common strategic document and methodologies.

LAGs, from all Member States or close neighbours owning the same territorial characteristics and concerned by similar problematic.
