2nd meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group on the Long Term Rural Vision

The second meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group (TG) aimed to contribute to developing the “EU Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas (LTVRA)” announced by the President of the European Commission.

Aims of the meeting

• The main aim of this meeting was to continue the discussions on the Foresight exercise in order to further develop the scenarios. These will form important building blocks for the EU Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas;
• There was also a session on the second day to discuss the activities concerning stakeholder involvement in the LTVRA and the next steps for the Thematic Group.
