Sustainable development observatory
Creation of a permanent observation system at a department scale, on the field of sustainable development. Establishment of a regional database and mapping to assist decision-makers and improve the share of knowledge.
The Country Vendômois approached other countries of the Loir-et-Cher to explore the possibilities of conducting an inter-territorial project in order to establish a common set of information tools such as statistical indicators, geographic tools, documentaries, The Centre for Economics and Territories of Loir-et-Cher would be the project manager. It consists in a more than 60 members association having an excellent knowledge of the area and its socio-economic characteristics. The area already collects extensive information to analyze the current dynamics on the area on three different directions: economy, territories, qaulity of life.
