Game, fishing and nature tourism

The main focus of this international project is hunting, as it is a popular leisure activity in Finland. The LAG is looking for partners in order to carry out studes together on the environmental impact of hunting, as well as to develope activities and services liked to this type of leisure acivities and to create the "European Hunters and Fishers Route".

Hunting is quite vastly practised leisure time activity in Finland. The international project aims to build on this activity and bring partners together with the same or similar interest.

The project aims: - To study the environmental impacts of hunting and also possibilities of their prevention. - Touristic offers for hunters would be also mapped in the participating areas and different game types would be introduced between partner territories. - Social twinning between associations and facilitation of building partnerships and friendship based connections would be one of the actions of the project. - The scope is to form a "European Hunters and Fishers Route" with its marketing material involving also entrepreneurs and firms offering services.
