Youth activating project

We are looking for partners from other European countries to build partnerships and create new ways to activate youth who live in rural areas. Are you interested in exploring new cultures and countries? Would you be interested in arts, culture and other acitivities that are not yet discovered? Or if you already have a youth project, we would be willing to participate if you need a partner.

The out migration from rural areas is common among the young people. After the primary school they head for cities to study, which is a reasonable choice,but what is substantial from the rural areas’ point of view, is that where the youth settle down after graduation. Participation of youth within their local communities raises active rural residents for the future. The basic idea is to offer the young people opportunities to participate in their own terms, under supervision of adults.

The project aims to collect ideas from the youth on how to develop rural areas. The next step is to refine them into projects that are interesting and fun for 10 to 25 year-old youth. TNC is a good opportunity for youth in particular: internationality and e.g. European trends are usually of their interest. They also have the necessary language skills, the appliances & knowledge for using the technology in communication. Projects can be linked with schoolwork or recreational activities too.
