Adding Value to Community Tourism

This project, which represents the continuation of an initiative started during the 2000 – 2006 programming, aims to share good practice and the experiences of the European partners in the development and promotion of sustainable tourism involving rural communities.

The cooperation project proposes: - the organisation of an events network, study visits, information exchange and ICT. - the gathering of good practices, the sharing of experiences, duties linked to the development of innovative activities on behalf of the community for the en-hancement of the area’s patrimony; where exchange and diffusion will take place via the Community Tourism Forum. - the creation of a Good Practice guide to diffuse examples of successful tourism-based activities in European rural communities
