26 October 2010: TNC Guide with rules and procedures now online
Local Action Groups seeking partners for transnational cooperation (TNC) can now consult and compare the specific rules which apply to each Member State. The information is provided in the form of TNC fiches to facilitate the preparation of TNC projects, with more fiches to be added in due course.Click here.
26 October 2010: Working paper on impact of Leader now available
The working paper on "Capturing impacts of Leader and of measures to improve Quality of Life in rural areas" can now be downloaded from the Evaluation Expert Network website. It proposes a framework of reference for assessing Quality of Life in the context of RDPs. Click Here.
25 October 2010: EAFRD Projects
The first in a series of brochures which showcases projects funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development is now available on the ENRD website. This edition features a diverse range of EAFRD projects, from a across the EU. Click here.
25 October 2010: Finnish LAGs visit CP Head Office
The ENRD Contact Point welcomed representatives of LAGs from the Finnish Tampere Region, on 25th October 2010. The group of 27 LAG representatives visited the CP office in Brussels to learn more about the ENRD and current trends in rural development.

Issue 5 of the ENRD magazine ‘EU Rural Review’ is now available online. This issue examines ways in which to cultivate competitiveness of the EU farm, agri-food and forest sectors. Click here.

21 October 2010: Polish Paying Agency visit ENRD Contact Point
The ENRD Contact Point welcomed representatives from the Polish Paying Agency for the Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture, based in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday 19th October. The group visited the CP offices in Brussels to further their knowledge of the work of the ENRD CP.
13-15 October, 2010: “Semi-subsistence farming” seminar in Sibiu, Romania
The seminar on “Semi-subsistence farming in the EU – current situation and future prospects” was held in Sibiu, Romania, on 13-15 October. Approximately 140 rural development stakeholders from across the EU attended the event. Click here for further information.
