Summary

The Bulgarian National Rural Network has developed an electronic interactive bulletin, which provides an outline of what is happening in the rural development world. Starting with a rural development policy overview, it continues with the presentation of the Bulgarian NRN and its current activities. The bulletin also includes news from members, regional coordinators, the ENRD and other NRNs. It contains information about forthcoming events and interesting projects. Each section is full of illustrations and links to further reading.

Main purpose

The bulletin’s objective is to provide rural development stakeholders and the broader public with up-to-date information about rural development activities and initiatives organised in Bulgaria and abroad. It summarizes the NRN’s past activities and what is planned for the next programming period. It gives them an opportunity to participate in the network’s activities.

Each issue of the bulletin is electronically sent to all 569 NRN members plus 145 persons who have subscribed through the website, or a total of 714 persons. Each issue is publicized via the NRN website and Facebook page, and remains available for reading in the Library section of the NRN website.
