Main purpose
The training and apprenticeship programme – held for the second time in 2013 – aimed to enable secondary school and university students to familiarise themselves with methods of vernacular architecture and construction. This was achieved by supporting these students to work alongside master craftsman whilst helping with the maintenance or reconstruction of a building - “learning by doing” method.
