    Summary

    On the 26th of June, the Portuguese National Rural Network organised a seminar presenting the study results of the financial engineering instruments of the Common Agricultural Policy after 2013. This study was conducted as part of a project supported by the National Rural Network through a partnership coordinated by Gabinete de Planeamento (GPP) and MAMAOT, CONFAGRI and Minha Terra, as part of the preparation process of the work of the Rural Development Programme for the period 2014-2020.

    Assessment of effectiveness

    The seminar was an effective tool for bringing various stakeholders together and allowing them for a timely exchange of information as well as contribution with the content to the CAP post-2013. It has also resulted in the detailed final report, presenting various finance issues and options, that has been dissemanted to a wider audience.
