Summary
The creation of a 'visual identity is crucially important to create awareness of the aims and values of an organisation. The Polish Rural Network has therefore created its own visual identity, including a logo - based on the image of a 'tree'. The logo is centred on the letter ‘I’ (which suggests the word ‘information’) - and nine coloured lines stem from the 'i'. In this logo the ‘i’ is seen to represent the image of a 'tree trunk' and the lines represent branches (rural development stakeholders etc.). The image is reproduced three times to convey the feeling of a ‘tree lined street’.
