    These 3 fact sheets & 4 posters were developed as part of a wider campaign roadshow visiting secondary schools all over Denmark. The material and the campaign were developed in cooperation between the RDP Managing Authority and the Ministry responsible for Social Fund and Regional Development.

    The fact sheets and posters provide material for a communications campaign aimed at informing secondary school students across Denmark about EU Cohesion and rural development policies and support measures. It is an example of cooperation in communicating about multi-funding sources, including EAFRD, ERDF (Regional Fund), ESF (Social Fund) & EFF (Fisheries Fund).

    Distribution & Promotion

    Danish National Rural Network in collaboration with the Ministry of Economics and Business. It consisted of classroom lectures, short presentations about EU, the Lisbon strategy, Europe 2020 strategy, the regional/LEADER set-up and EU funding in Denmark, presentation by beneficiaries about their projects.

    Assessment of effectiveness

    The event is not planned to be repeated due to a very high requirement for human resources. However the response from schools and teachers was very positive, and the concept might give inspiration to a similar but smaller event.
