The web portal is the result of a project initiated to create a communication channel between farmers and businesses, channel that encourages the transfer of knowledge and information about activities funded under England RDP. The platform contains sections dedicated to latest news and relevant technical fact sheets as well as reports from demonstration events and group meetings. Relevant stakeholders and experts that shares facts, data, information and ideas about funding opportunities under English RDP in order for livestock farmers to get inspired and encouraged. It makes more visible to the stakeholders the use of rural development funds by sharing a large series of (video) case studies and podcasts. An events calendar feature powered with an online booking facility is also made available to portal users. It catalyses communication regarding important issues for livestock farmers and helps advisory services finding the most suitable consultancy approach.
