Summary
An exposition at the annual ‘Agrokomplex International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry,’ which takes place in Nitra, Slovakia each summer. The exposition is international in scope but coordinated by the NRN of Slovakia (NRDN SR). The Fair is a unique opportunity for all participants to present and promote their work, activities and plans, as well as their region, regional traditions and food specialities.

Main purpose
The aim of the exposition is not only to present the work of the NRDN SR and the implementation of the LEADER approach in Slovakia, but also to promote traditional regional products and folk traditions and to spark discussions on the current situation and indeed the future of the Slovakian rural countryside. The exposition is also a site for networking - allowing stakeholders to make new contacts and build relationships with other NRNs and LAGs from V4 countries.

Assessment of effectiveness
The event in 2012 was very successful, attracting participants from the Czech Republic (National Rural Network CR, National Network of Local Action Groups of the Czech Republic and Association for Village Renewal), Hungary (Hungarian National Rural Network) and Poland (Regional National Rural Network – Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Świetokrzyskiego). In total, some 31 Local Action Groups participated at the fair - 25 from Slovakia, 6 from Czech Republic, 2 from Hungary and 1 from Poland.
