Summary
An online database containing relevant information about rural development project implemented in Slovakia was created at the level of National Rural Network. It contains data about more than 970 projects financed under Axis 3 and Axis 4 of the Rural Development Progamme. The database contains a project fiche for each registered project. One can find name and contact detail of the project promoters, period of project implementation and summary of project objectives and a photo gallery from the project.

Main purpose
The main objective of creating this database is in line with one of the most important tasks of NRN: to collect and disseminate rural development project examples. Such database is a very good tool for collecting and disseminating information about projects developed under Axis 3 and Axis 4. There one can find numerous examples of good practice that could be inspirational for interested rural development stakeholders.

Language: Slovakian. A searching feature allows users to look for projects in a certain region or district, or to find beneficiaries of the project and the year of projects’ end. The database in being continuously refreshed as the number of registered projects is increasing. It can be downloaded as Excel spreadsheet. Each project overview is downloadable too as PDF document.
