4th meeting of the Thematic Group on the Long Term Rural Vision

This was the final meeting of the ENRD Thematic Group (TG) in the current cycle to contribute to developing the “EU Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas (LTVRA)” announced by the President of the European Commission and where the Commission is foreseen to adopt a Communication in June 2021.

Aims of the meeting

• To take stock of the main messages coming out of the ENRDs’ Rural Vision Week;
• To share experiences from Member States that have developed their own integrated strategies and agendas for rural development and to consider how the EU Rural Vision might encourage and support others to do the same;
• To discuss how stakeholders can cooperate to make the future Vision become a reality at local level and to consider how networks can best provide support.
