Context:

Climate change is already affecting Europe in various forms, depending on the region. It can lead to biodiversity loss, forest fires, decreasing crop yields and higher temperatures. It can also affect people’s health. What can be better than organize camps on bicycles and developing, togheter with the youths, the best instruments for combating climate change?

Project idea summary:

The aim of the project is to organize camps for young people in the territory of each partner LAG, in which young people from all the territories will participate, so as to create connections between them. In these camps we want young people to be aware of the consequences of climate change and how important cycling is to combat it for having a healthy lifestyle.

Objectives:

1. Organization of study visits in the territory of the partners
2. Acquisition of the bicycles in order to participate to sports camps
3. Organization of one camp for youths on each partner territory about how to combat climate change
