Representatives of Turkish Cypriot central and local-level bodies visited the ENRD Contact Point on 18 March, 2011. The group, who is actively involved in the designing of rural development policy in Northern Cyprus, was in Brussels as part of a Belgian study tour. Participants were interested in learning more about ENRD activities including: the Leader programme in EU Member States; the functioning of Local Action Groups; and the ENRD’s role in networking and cooperation activities at regional, national and local level.
