A Finnish study group made up of members of the Finnish Rural Network Unit visited the ENRD Contact Point on Tuesday 21st June. The agenda discussed included discussion of the proposed NRN meeting "Demonstrating the value of networking” which is set to take place next May/June 2012 and possibilities for cooperation in the promotion of the Finnish ’Amaze Me LEADER’ event planned for August 2011. Furthermore, the Baltic Sea Region Strategy meeting was discussed, which is to be held in Finland in September 2011 and a preliminary agenda set for the ”Bio-mass from forests” seminar to take place in Punkaharju, Finland at the end of October this year. A date was also arranged for the ”communication officers” from the Finnish Ministry, NSU, paying agency and provincial level to visit the ENRD Contact Point in September 2011.
