Five representatives of the initiative Citizens for Europe operating in Bosnia-Herzegovina visited the ENRD CP on 14 October 2013 to discuss rural networks. Citizens for Europe initiative aims to improve the European integration process and to intensify the implementation of the required reforms in Bosnia-Herzegovina through networking and advocacy. The ENRD CP representatives presented key networking lessons learnt and introduced relevant ENRD activities to the visitors. The discussion focused on the building and sustaining of rural networks and the necessary emphasis on developing trust among different stakeholders (e.g. public officials, civil society, private sector). The visitors were also invited to contribute to the candidate country section of the Rural Development Gateway 2014-2020.
