People's interest in stands is raised when it is an attractive display, easy on the eye and with a warm, human element to complement the main information and ideas being offered. This portable French stand attempts to achieve these aims. Its main elements include: an expandable metal frame able to be shaped according to the available space and with some solid panels for posters; a full-colour backdrop (large wall banner) about the key services and features of the French NRN; a supporting stand-alone circular visibility stand-up table suitable for displaying small items (and for resting coffee cups!); and a longer rectangular table for brochures and other materials, and which is suitable for seating, writing and discussing. Flexibility to adapt to the constraints of each venue is a key consideration in the design and preparation of this stand facility.

    Main purpose

The main idea is to have an attractive, portable stand suitable for communicating about the services and added value of the National Rural Network, adaptable to the space available at fairs, conferences and other events. Having this kind of communication support tool reduces the planning and resources required by the network to participate in events that are relevant to rural development stakeholders.
