    These two practical handbook guides provide in-depth description of the "need-to-know" things for LAG coordinators and board members for understanding and carrying out their responsibilities. Handbook 1 is for both coordinators and board members, while Handbook 2 is targeted more at board members and goes into more depth about responsibilities such as how to choose projects for support. Both handbooks include ample examples of good / relevant practice.

    The main purpose of the handbooks is to provide practical guides to technical and administrative staff and board members of LAGs about how to deal with their professional functions and responsibilities within a LAG. In this sense, the handbooks are contributing to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of how LAGs operate.
