Workshop promoting agricultural products

This workshop on the promotion of agricultural products was hosted by the Czech Ministry of Agriculture on 23 May 2012. The need of solidarity between EU Member States in the funding of promotional programmes was also discussed. The workshop was attended by representatives of the European Commission, professional staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Agricultural Intervention Fund and was co-financed by the European Union.

The main aim of the workshop was to explore optimal ways of promoting agricultural products. Particular attention was paid to discussing related legislation and information and publicity measures for agricultural products for an internal market and in third countries.
