Ausgabe Nr. 28 des EU-Magazins Ländlicher Raum hat die durchgängige Berücksichtigung der Bioökonomie zum Thema.

Die nachhaltige Nutzung der natürlichen Ressourcen steht derzeit unverrückbar im Mittelpunkt des öffentlichen Interesses. Die ländlichen Gebiete Europas sind immer besser dafür gerüstet, sich die Vorteile der Bioökonomie zunutze zu machen. Ausgabe Nr. 28 des EU-Magazins Ländlicher Raum beleuchtet die tragende Rolle der neuen Bioökonomie-Strategie der EU und die Bedeutung von Regionen und Gemeinden für eine beschleunigte Entwicklung der Bioökonomie.

Die Ausgabe knüpft an die Arbeit des ENRD am Thema Durchgängige Berücksichtigung der Bioökonomie an.

This is the report of the ENRD Seminar 'Bioeconomy: Seizing the Opportunity for Rural Europe'.

A variety of rural stakeholders gathered to share practical examples of bioeconomy initiatives in rural territories across the EU and discuss the role of EU policy instruments to support sustainable bio-based initiatives in rural areas. They concluded that the three main elements in mainstreaming the bioeconomy are: capacity building, cooperation and a holistic approach to sustainability.
