Ein bunter Kreis aus Interessenträgern der ländlichen Entwicklung nutzte das Seminar zu einem Austausch über Praxisbeispiele für bioökonomische Initiativen in ländlichen Gebieten der EU und über die Rolle der Politikinstrumente der EU zur Förderung nachhaltiger ökologischer Initiativen im ländlichen Raum. Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer gelangten zu der Schlussfolgerung, dass die drei wesentlichen Stützen einer durchgängigen Berücksichtigung der Bioökonomie Kapazitätsaufbau, Zusammenarbeit und ganzheitlicher Nachhaltigkeitsansatz lauten.
