Project summary:

Often small organisations suffer funding problems. Traditional investment and loan institutions might not find them interesting or secure enough to invest in. That is a huge obstacle for these small organisations that want to grow and invest in the development for their rural surroundings. To cope with this problem the ‘Coompanion Västernorrland’ established a micro-fund as an alternative way to provide guarantees or loans to small, local organisations.

Project results:

The micro-fund has reached as many people as anticipated in order for it to become established and recognised in the area.

The micro-fund will lead to more enterprises and organisations being able to take the chance/risk to invest in rural development.
