A small family farm in a traditional winemaking area of Croatia used RDP support to purchase new machinery and equipment for wine producing.
A family farm producing wine decided to modernise its agricultural equipment and increase its wine storage capacity. This enabled the farm to exploit fully the production capacity of its vineyards. Support from the Croatian RDP enabled the farm to purchase agricultural equipment including toppers rotary, rotary cultivator and winemaking equipment, such as crushers and wine tanks.
The new equipment enables the beneficiary to cultivate the vineyards with much less physical work than before.
The upgraded wine production process contributes to the increase in the quantity, quality and price of the product, which opens up the possibilities for future economic growth of the farm.
