Project summary:

The cooperation project ‘Cowocat_Rural’ aims to boost the creation of employment and economic activity in rural areas and to promote the values of coworking and teleworking in the participating territories. Its concept is based on the need to promote entrepreneurship through the use of information and communication technologies.

The project tries to transfer the pioneering experience of coworking to rural areas in Catalonia, Spain. ‘Cowocat_Rural’ works to attract young skilled professionals to rural areas and to tackle outmigration. The project promoter is the LAG Consorci Intercomarcal d’Iniciatives Socioeconòmiques.
