Project summary:
The small Polish municipality of Lisków upgraded public space and road connections around its Community Cultural Centre including installation of 16 innovative wind–solar hybrid streetlights.
Project results:
This project improved transportation in the municipality, enhanced access for disabled and elderly people, and increased after-dark safety for all. The energy saving streetlights have also improved the municipality’s cash flow, which means more funds are available for local development actions.
